Aubrey Organics Calendula Deodorant Review

Contains:

This product is free of the harsh chemicals found in your typical drug store deodorant (no aluminum, no propylene glycol). Instead, it contains excellent natural and nourishing ingredients like: soybean oil, calamine, rosa damascena flower water, calendula flower extract, chamomile extract, arnica montana flower extract, sandalwood oil, vanilla oil, patchouli oil, cedarwood oil, jasmine oil, and rosa damascena flower oil.

Description:

This natural deodorant is one that I have used for several months now and am entirely pleased with it. It doesn’t cause irritation and doesn’t contain a harsh fragrance. Instead, it provides a fresh & flowery scent that is in a convenient sized bottle–perfect to take with you in your gym bag or purse. In regards to longevity, this deodorant does a good job of withstanding body odor and sweat.

The container has a pump spray design (which was new to me, deodorant-wise), however I’ve found I really like it. This product is truly worth incorporating into your daily routine. It’s also really easy to reapply throughout the day as needed. On my sweatiest days when I’m aiming to thoroughly combat the stink, I find that one reapplication midday does the trick.

Note: I’ve used the descriptions on Aubrey Organics’ website to help me convey the quality of their products on this blog. As always, all Aubrey products are vegan and never tested on animals.

Aubrey Organics products are also found in some specialty health food stores. Call ahead to see if your local place carries it!

I had a good feeling about this brand after meeting the founders and then another good-feeling-wave after reading the first ingredient list. It’s evident that they trust and utilize plants to elevate the health of skin. As a plant nerd, herbalism junkie, and superfood geek, I really revere this. It fully resonates and aligns with what I look for in skincare.

  1. i really want to try some of there products! i have tried other natural deodorants and liked them. the problem i found is that i sweat too much when i run and then i get major chafing so i have to use antiperspirants when i run. it sucks……

    • Chaffing under the arm? Hmm I haven’t had that problem before. I sweat so excessively when I run (especially in this texas heat) that I have surrendered to it and try to manage the smell instead–haha. I would say if you are looking for an antiperspirant, these aren’t it, but they do a great job of maintaining a pleasant aroma.
