Raw Gaia Organic Skin Care Review

About:
“Raw Gaia stands for something unique and not easy to achieve when you rely on the high street.

And that’s beautiful, radiant, glowing skin…

Forget false claims and promises that you’ve probably tried with products that have failed you time after time – like most people that eventually find us and wish they had sooner!
With principles based on 100% natural, 100% organic and 100% pure, beneficial ingredients, we do WITHOUT the things that every other skincare or cosmetics manufacturer still includes…
And this includes the ingredients that will make your skin worse!
Having been established for nearly 10 years, we serve people from all over the world in every capacity and since our products go such a long way you don’t need to invest a fortune in products that will actually work to relieving you of your skin condition…

Or just allow you to vamp up your beauty regime to gain an unbelievable goddess-like glow of youth and radiance while at the same time transforming the appearance (not just the condition) of your skin.
The products you use on your skin and the food and drink you consume on a daily basis will mean the difference between being or becoming a walking Goddess regardless of age, and an everyday high street brand switcher.
Choosing to empower yourself to the “Walking Goddess” option will align you with yourself far more than you could ever imagine.”

Hemp Oil

About:
“Hemp seed oil is an emollient which is non-greasy and works perfectly as a moisturizing compound with excellent moisture balancing properties.
Using Hemp seed oil is a great way to achieve soft, smooth and hydrated skin. Hemp seed oil prevents moisture loss on a physiological level and doesn’t merely “coat” the skin as do other oils. It contains the ideal ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 based on our cells needs. Hemp so closely matches our own skins lipids, it is able to penetrate inside our cells and lubricate the surface between them, thus bringing the EFA’s into the body. For this reason EFA’s have been proven to play a preventative role in skin aging and a healthy moisture balance.
Thanks to its high amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids), hemp seed oil has excellent anti-inflammatory qualities. It therefore helps to relieve conditions such as acne, psoriasis and eczema as well as healing skin lesions, balances dry skin and combats skin inflammations.
Hemp is also the only plant oil containing Vitamin D, which is necessary for Calcium absorption and especially useful to vegans. Hemp seed oil contains 57% linoleic (LA) and 19% linolenic (LNA) acids and antioxidants in the form of vitamin E and carotene. Phytosterols, phospholipids, as well as a number of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, sulphur, potassium and phosphorus are also found in the oil.”

Moroccan Lava Clay Mask:

About:
“Sourced from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, Moroccan Lava clay has been used for hundreds of years as a natural beautifier.
Moroccan Lava Clay is a light brown clay with wonderful exfoliating, cleansing and detoxifying properties. It has a remarkable ability to draw out excess oils and impurities from deep within the skin thanks to its high levels of “ion exchange”.
It is also highly nourishing for the skin thanks to its high mineral content and unique composition including Silica, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium.
Because Moroccan Lava clay has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-microbial and antiseptic qualities, it is a great skin cleanser and can be use daily as a face wash. The regular use of Rhassoul clay may also help to improve the appearance of skin troubled by Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne and Rosacea.
Studies have shown that Rhassoul helps to:

  • improve skin texture
  • reduce dryness and flakiness
  • improve skin elasticity and firmness, and
  • Remove dead skin layers, therefore leaving the skin nice and smooth.

Because of its amazing qualities it is not surprising that Rhassoul clay is used by prestigious spas and loved by people from all over the world.
Directions for use
a) Blend one to two teaspoons of Rhassoul clay and enough water (or floral water) to make a creamy face mask. Wash face with warm water and apply the mask. Do not let the mask dry out so apply a moistened cloth or sponge over the face to keep the mask damp. Leave for about 5 to 10 minutes (but no longer than that). If the skin looks inflamed after the first application, don’t worry, this is just a detox symptom and a good sign! Apply the mask once a week.
b) As a face/body wash: Mix one to two teaspoons of clay with water, to form a mixture similar in consistency to liquid soap. Apply the prepared clay to the wet face/body. Massage the area covered by clay for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Ingredients:
 Sun-dried Moroccan Lava clay only.
70g.”

Raw Gaia Organic Skin Care Review

I can’t say enough positive things about Raw Gaia skin care. I’m pretty sure I fell in love with these products before I ever received them in the mail. Truly organic & pure skin care is so refreshing and exciting to me. Your skin can thrive if you give it nutrients straight from nature. I love that Raw Gaia obviously believes this as well.
Though I have used hemp oil on and off for a few years as a dietary supplement (in smoothies & shakes as a healthy source of fat), this is the first time I’ve used it as a facial oil (moisturizer). I require no “selling” in terms of why hemp is a great choice for health. I’m completely on board with this superfood. It’s a readymade healer for both the inside and outside of the body–and I couldn’t wait to try it on my skin. The verdict is: my skin all but sang when I applied it for the first time. There’s such a delicate balance of trying to find an oil that soaks into skin well, keeps it moist & nourished, but also doesn’t leave skin feeling goopy. Often times, when you get your hands on the real stuff (organic, raw & pure), all of those issues go away–it works magically on skin & soaks in just right. It also helps to balance my skin’s oil production.
After many years of washing my face morning and night, I have (in the last 6 months or so) started keeping it to once a day. In the morning, I simply mist my face with water + essential oils (filtered water + peppermint + rosemary + tea tree + lavender essential oils), but do not wash it off. In the evening after I’ve worked out, I wash my face with an organic cleanser and follow up with a fairly generous amount of facial oil. There’s an incredibly good feeling using products that are pure as can be. This way, I simply never have to worry about the ingredients being questionable–and I can rest assured that my skin’s health will reflect that.
I use this clay mask by pouring a small amount into my hand + a few drops of water to make a paste. I have a handy little paintbrush-looking mask application brush that I use to apply it to my entire face (minus the eye sockets). I leave it on until it gets dry (about 5-10 min) and then use it as an exfoliant as I wash it off in the shower. 5-10 minutes might sound like a long time–here’s what I do: apply it, take your time and make a green drink or smoothie, then by the time I’m headed back to the shower with my drink, the mask is ready to wash off (and then I drink my green drink in the shower (the ultimate!) :).
Tell me you don’t get excited knowing that Raw Gaia makes even more organic, cold pressed oils?! Jojoba, reshape, etc. These products would make an incredible gift to your loved ones, and for yourself, alike!
