It’s no secret that I am a huge proponent of feeding our Labrador-mix Kona a healthy diet, similar in many ways to how I feed myself. I believe that you can’t expect your dog to be active, spry and healthy without proper nutrition. The phrase “she’s just a dog” never gets uttered in my house. I treat her like a living, breathing being that deserves high quality nourishment.
That said, a supplement like Rejeneril certainly peaked my interest in that it caters to filling in the nutritional gaps and offering a means for a pup to get a boosted cell-turnover rate and a shorter recovery time.
My skepticism and concern lies in the fact that the ingredients appear to be isolated compounds with funky names. Thought they may all be “non-toxic” and “safe.” I’m looking for way better than that. I want our Kona to THRIVE, not just survive. I believe that whole food based supplements are the best call when supplementing a diet. Nature has it figured out–there are so many readymade healers that can help a canine achieve optimum health, and I believe the most in using those. That route feels right to me and it makes sense in my mind.
I acknowledge the fact that I am a bit of a snob in regards to supplements–I’ve experienced the best, raw, organic supplements and I hold everything else I try to those standards.
Backing up a bit, I’ll say that I appreciate the fact that this supplement is non-toxic. I just find myself growing weary of how the ingredient list reads. I am wanting to see plant-based sources on here that are not isolates.
My Ultimate Pet would like to get a bottle into your hands & find out what you think, as well!
