Annmarie Wild Alchemy Collection Review

With Fruit Serum Brightening Facial Complex

Antioxidant Lip Balm

Key Ingredients: Cocoa Extract, Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, Buriti Fruit Oil, Cocoa Butter

Moisturizes. Fortifies. Rejuvenates. This creamy, all-natural balm moisturizes and fortifies both pucker and pout. Organic cocoa butter softens lips while antioxidant-rich, omega-heavy fruit oils of buriti and sea buckthorn fight free radicals. Rich cocoa extract leaves kisses luminous and luscious—with a hint of chocolate.

My Experience:

What sets this lip balm apart from others is that it does more than just take care of chapped, dry, cracked lips. This balm nourishes, restores and heals the skin of your lips. For you, this means healthier skin on your lips (just as important as the rest of the face!) and more luster.

I especially love the sea buckthorn ingredient; as this is one of my favorite skin care oils to bring skin back into balance. The Antioxidant Lip Balm smells like cocoa butter with a subtle hint of fruitiness. It’s a naturally light and pleasant scent that’s left on your lips.

If you apply makeup over this lip balm, know that it makes the perfect primer for lip stick/lip gloss. It also helps it to stay on your lips longer and minimizes the look of creases/wrinkles on your lips. It’s the little boosts of youthfulness this little lip balm provides that makes all the difference.

Fruit Ceramide Eye Serum

Key Ingredients: Artemisia, Sake Peptides, Pineapple Ceramides, Lingonberry Plant Stem Cells

Hydrates. Revitalizes. Illuminates. This transformative treatment is formulated to enhance the resilience and radiance of the delicate skin around the eyes. Pineapple ceramides and sake peptides are blended with 12 sub formulas to target the appearance of deep lines, while lingonberry stem cells and helichrysum firm and soften. Hand selected extracts of artemisia and sambucus soothe sensitivities, creating a luxe complex that protects against oxidative stress and illuminates skin.

My Experience:

I’ll start off by saying I’m not big of buying an eye-specific products because I like to keep it simple. I just use my facial serums/moisturizers on my eye area and find that works well for me. So, the funny part is that instead of just using this on my eye area, I’ve been using it on my whole face. Why not! I use it pretty sparingly since it’s like liquid gold.

Most people want to know if “it works.” In a word, I would say GLOW. This serum helps you glow. It’s similar to how you notice your skin morph when you start eating more raw fruits and vegetables.

It’s illuminating for the skin and helps you emit that dewy look from your face. Of course, the best part is that it’s not just about the look of your skin; this product is improving the health of it as well. It’s a win all around.

Charcoal Cacao Mask

Key Ingredients: Activated Charcoal, Cacao, Turmeric Essential Oil

Calms. Clarifies. Revives. This activated treatment mask infuses your skin with potent antioxidants, gentle clays and cooling botanicals to reveal a smooth and clear complexion. Hydrating aloe vera works to lock in moisture, while coconut charcoal draws out deep impurities. Turmeric’s bioactive compounds leave your skin feeling calm, making this mask ideal for sensitivities. Cacao delivers complex nutrients for healthy skin, visibly improving texture, tone and radiance.

My Experience:

A gentle, but effective detox for skin that’s been overloaded. This mask helps lift impurities from my skin without being stripping. I really love the synergistic formulation here. Most charcoal masks are just charcoal by themselves; which can help detox. However, how Annmarie adds in the other nourishing ingredients makes for a mask that brings moisture restoration and a calming affect to the skin. It’s no wonder Annmarie has some of the best beauty products!

Because this mask really gets the grime out of skin, I do like to follow up with the Fruit Serum and Radiate Facial Moisturizing Oil to optimize the treatment.

Tip: I recommend using a microfiber towel (or a natural hemp cloth–something similar to that) to remove this mask. Or, if you are rinsing it off in the shower, that’s even more ideal. This mask can be pretty messy to take off (even though I think it just seems more messy, since you can see the black flecks washing off of your face), so I’ve had the best luck removing it one of those two ways.

Wild Fruit Serum

Key Ingredients: Apple Extract, Knotweed Extract, Madonna Lily Plant Cells, Kakadu Plum Extract.

Brightens. Hydrates. Rejuvenates. The ultimate skin elixir — this serum brightens, hydrates, and helps tone aging skin. Brightens the appearance of skin tone with a concentrated dose of fruit, herb and plant-cell extracts. A dynamic blend of Kakadu plum and apple helps revive dull skin. Resveratrol-rich knotweed, plant-cell extracts and copper combine to help keep skin moist, plump and supple for an overall even-toned, luminous glow.

My Experience:

In a different way than what was originally intended, I like to mix this serum with the eye serum on my fingertips, rub together and apply to my entire face. I like the idea of getting the entire range of ingredients in both products onto my face. Major wow-factor when you take a look at the plant-powered goodness on these ingredient lists.

Like I mentioned in regards to the Fruit Ceramide Eye Serum, this Serum really brings the glow. Also, the consistency is perfect for wearing under a face oil. I like to apply it to freshly cleansed skin, let it dry, then finish with one of my favorite Annmarie facial oils.

I’ve only been using these products for a few months, but I have a feeling that with prolonged, regular use, I would really get to experience the anti-aging benefits of the incredible ingredients. I like to think of this serum as a smoothie for your face; so many good phytonutrients + plant compounds. Similar to a nutrient-dense diet, if you expose your body to it repeatedly, so will gain more and more health + vitality as time passes.

Palo Santo Hair & Body Mist

Key Ingredients: Palo Santo, Cardamom, Peru Balsam

Awakens. Uplifts. Energizes. Infused with crystals, the Palo Santo Hair & Body Mist is a non-toxic perfume that promotes healthy tresses and warms the senses. It’s formulated with a sustainably-sourced blend of essential oils like palo santo, cardamom and peru balsam for an earthy, grounding experience.

My Experience:

What a dream to use this product, seriously. Such an immediate vibe change. I love to close my eyes and spray this evenly over my face and neck. I also use it as a perfume, as I do not use traditional perfumes anymore (due to their heavy toxic load and chemically-laden ingredients).

To me, it feels like it clears any stagnant energy while also grounding me at the same time. It’s a part of my self care ritual in the bathroom. Spraying it before practicing yoga or doing a Melissa Wood Health workout at home is also something I use this product for.

I would recommend it for all of these uses, especially as a way to lift your vibe and transition over to a completely natural perfume. for those not familiar with Palo Santo, it is a wood that has a deep, almost sweet woody, forresty smell and it’s a total experience. It has energy cleansing benefits and leaves you smelling incredible.

Here’s another thing worth mentioning. I was trying to figure out what the “secret sauce” is here. Then, I realized that this has balsam in it! Balsam is one of my very favorite essential oils. Too, it really adds an incredible depth to the scent.

I had a good feeling about this brand after meeting the founders and then another good-feeling-wave after reading the first ingredient list. It’s evident that they trust and utilize plants to elevate the health of skin. As a plant nerd, herbalism junkie, and superfood geek, I really revere this. It fully resonates and aligns with what I look for in skincare.
