Laird Superfood Protein Review
Being a Laird Superfood advocate, fan and member of their Ambassador team from the beginning, you can bet that I was extremely excited about the release of this protein. This formulation is truly unique. In a world full of protein powder options, this one is in a league of its own. It contains ingredients that are mindfully & synergistically mixed together. It’s a combination hat I have not yet seen in another single protein blend on the market.
My favorite aspects:
-Packed with superfoods like hemp, cordyceps, chlorella, maitake, chaga and lion’s mane.
-It’s grain-free and paleo friendly. This is an approach to eating that I’ve experienced works well for my body. Paleo also means that it’s gluten and dairy free.
-Renew contains all 9 amino acids, making it an ideal recovery drink for optimum muscle repair from workouts
How I Use Laird Superfood Protein
The Laird Superfood Renew Formula is mellow, pleasant and tasty enough to consume with water alone. Their team actually formulates products this way and tests them with water first. This helps them to insure that the taste is on par.
I like adding a few heaping tablespoons into a large blender bottle filled with water. If I’m craving some more fuel, I’d mix in coconut or almond milk into the water. Renew has a light sweetness, it’s definitely not too sweet. If you want something sweeter or more geared towards a post-workout electrolyte refuel, I sometimes add a scoop of Hydrate powder or few drops of monkfruit liquid. Monkfruit is naturally sweet and naturally sugar free.
