Ellovi Lip Butter Review
About Ellovi:
“Ellovi was born to disrupt a beauty industry ruled by products laden with artificial ingredients and cheap fillers. We are passionate about crafting pure and nutritional skincare products from plants. Our aspiration is not simply to make the best natural skincare products, but the best skincare products of any kind.
We believe that what you put on your skin goes more than skin deep. Which is why we are committed to keeping our products free of anything that doesn’t come straight from nature.
Our first product, Butter, is an intensely hydrating body moisturizer made from macadamia nut, coconut, marula nut, hemp seed, and shea. There are no synthetic ingredients, preservatives, parabens, or other secret ingredients.
We promise to always make our products with integrity and the finest ingredients from around the world. We hope you see this reflected in Butter and we welcome your feedback.”
Ellovi’s Description
“We’ve taken all of the best things about Ellovi Butter, and made the perfect portable variation for your lips.
Like Butter, Lip Butter is made with just six ingredients so pure you can eat them.
The six ingredients are Hawaiian coconut, sunflower, hemp, macadamia, Ghanaian marula, and shea.
Each ingredient plays a specific role in keeping your lips hydrated and happy.”
Ellovi Lip Butter Review
I previously composed a review on Ellovi’s other product, butter. Butter is a versatile product and it truly stands out to me within the long list of skin care products I’ve tried. I love how simple and pure the ingredients are.
I have merely the same things to say about this lip butter. It. Is. Awesome! This lip butter quickly became one of the lip balms I use most.
In regards to organic ingredients, I got this great info from Kelly about Ellovi products:
“4 of our ingredients are certified organic, and the other 2 are wildly harvested.
We use the term “ethically sourced” to describe our ingredients because we only buy from companies that treat their employees well and pay them fair wages. We also work with a few fair trade organizations such as Global Mamas, (an amazing company that helps provide sustainable income opportunities for women in Africa).”
I have come to learn that the term “wild-harvested” is very similar to the word organic, but often without the certification. Plants that are wild harvested are grown away from pesticides and harsh chemicals–a great thing! So, when you see that on a natural product, that often is a great sign.
I recommend this product to everyone. I think men and women alike will find that it becomes their “go-to” lip balm. It’s also perfectly suited for children. My 5 year old turns her nose up at lip balms that sting her lips (products that contain minty ingredients), making Ellovi Lip Butter one that she loves, as it has a pure, fresh, earthy, nutty, pleasant aroma to it.
*These complimentary products have been generously provided to me for the purpose of trying them in order to write a review on my experience.
