My Description & Thoughts:

I must say, I typically prefer facial soaps to be in bar form because it’s less messy and easier to apply. I did enjoy using this cleanser, though. When lathered up, it does a good job of cleaning even the dirtiest of skin.

I like how L’uvalla states that this product provides “matte finish,” as I think that is a good description of how it leaves your skin. All of the sweat and shininess is gone and skin looks completely clean. Because of how good this cleanser cleans, I do make sure to follow up with moisturizer or serum so that my skin stays moist.

I’d recommend this cleanser for someone looking for a thorough clean by way of very good ingredients.

Eucalyptus Toner

My Description & Thoughts:

I find toners to be most useful to me mid-day in between washes when my skin has perspired a bit and needs a refresher. The eucalyptus provides such a pleasant, calming fragrance and the other ingredients add to that earthy, herbal scent.

This is a great product to have in your gym bag for post workout in the middle of the day. You might not want to go through the whole routine of washing your face, so a toner might be just what your skin needs. This way, the oil and sweat that has built up on your skin will be kept at bay. Using a toner is also more time efficient than washing and moisturizing your face.

I’d recommend this to anyone who has oily/combination skin or is looking for a mid-day skin fix. This product contains mostly organic ingredients and when you use it on your skin, it feels pure and effective.

My Description & Thoughts:

What a great moisturizer this is–It’s light and even has essential oils that are natural astringents, which allows this cream to keep the oil on your face at bay. It doesn’t take much of this product to thoroughly hydrate your face and neck (if desired), which is great because it helps the bottle of product last a long time.

The day/night cream is just ideal–can’t say enough good things about it. It leaves skin feeling just as you’d like it to feel–clean yet hydrated. The ingredient list is merely entirely organic and the ingredients are specifically nourishing and helpful for maintaining healthy skin. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light moisturizer than is chock full of organic goodness.

Age-Defying Day/Night Cream

My Description & Thoughts:

Another great L’uvalla product–my thoughts are very similar on this product as they were for the balancing cream. It does great things in protecting skin and keeping it young looking.

This age-defying version is an even better option for those looking for fight wrinkles and damaged skin. The ingredients are dreamy, one organic ingredient after the next.

Though I enjoyed using this product, I’d recommend it more for those looking specifically for an anti-aging cream or wrinkle reducing products. Otherwise, I’d recommend L’uvalla’s balancing cream–they are both great creams that target different skin types.

Hydrating Milk Cleanser

My Description & Thoughts:

As far as the cleaning job this milk cleanser does, it is not my favorite because my skin needs a more thorough clean. However, it does exactly what it says it does. It is gentle and it does not rid skin of moisture.

If you have oily skin and you still like to incorporate gentle cleansers in your routine, I’d recommend this product for a mid-day routine in which your skin doesn’t desperately need a cleansing, but it could use a light wash. I could also see this cleanser being great for make up removal at night (as L’uvalla suggests to boot).

Just like all other L’uvalla products, this one boasts mostly organic ingredients, which always speaks to the effectiveness of the products, as I believe organic, plant based ingredients are not only the safest, but they “work” best!
