Janji Running Apparel Review
About Janji:
“On the way to the 2010 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Mike and Dave had an idea: what if they could connect runners around the country to solve one of the world’s most serious problems? By the time they came home from the track meet, Janji was born.
Mike and Dave knew runners like themselves were charitable. But they saw that philanthropic running only begins — and unfortunately ends — on race day. They want Janji to change that. Through Janji’s high performance apparel, runners can fund solutions and raise awareness for the global food and water crisis in a meaningful and lasting way. Now, rather than racing just one day for a cause, runners can give back through everyday training.
Janji’s goal is to create a community dedicated to running for another. That was Mike and Dave’s goal on that bus, and that’s what Janji will always be about.”

Janji Running Apparel Review
This is a really neat running apparel brand that I have been lucky enough to try once before. I’ve also tried out their gray running capris. You can read that review here.
During the colder months, having a stash of comfortable long sleeve shirts in my closet is a necessity. The material composition of this shirt is nice because the cotton makes it cozy and the polyester provides the moisture wicking quality. It breathes and performs like an activewear shirt, yet it is cozy enough to wear to be or to lounge around. I also love the unique giraffe traffic on this shirt–it’s little things like that that set one running apparel brand apart from another. My daughter also digs it, as she loves animals!
When I want to wear a pair of capris for a long run, volleyball practice with my team, or a tough workout, I grab my Janjis. The fit is unparelled, they stay put, they are comfortable, they look cool, they are figure flattering. I couldn’t ask for more in a capri. These capris hit me right below the knee, not below the calf like many capris do. I like having pants of varying lengths in my closet–and when I want a knee-length capri, Janji gets my vote every time. Having these pants in gray and black hanging in my closet is absolute gold for my running wardrobe.
Not the least important of which is the fact that Janji is a brand on a mission. As you can see above in the product descriptions, they donate proceeds from their sales to fund folks in Tanzania getting access to clean water. Awesome apparel and awesome mission–I’m so into it!
