NUX USA Activewear Review
For a long time I relied on the same few pairs of plain black running tights and white v-neck tees, run after run. Nowadays, I really look forward to trying out and using unique, sometimes colorful and sometimes patterned apparel.
I really love this top. The black color goes with any bottom, which makes it very versatile. I love that it is a little bit loose around the stomach, as tight tights sometimes tend to ride up on my torso during a long run or workout. The detailing of the tank is really feminine and unique–making it a stand-out piece in my closet of tank tops. The material is breathable and is comfortable against skin.
I was instantly drawn to these tights because of the unique, intricate pattern on them. Fit-wise, they are looser at the waist (less compression) than through the legs. This can be a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it does not cut in on your waistline and creating a “muffin top”. Bad because they do not always stay up and stay put on your waist. I prefer to wear my tights up at my natural waist, close to the narrowest part of my torso. These tights don’t stay put at the point on my waist where I feel comfortable wearing them. That said, NUX does clearly provide that they are low-rise pants. I do like the feel of the compression throughout the legs, though.
I would recommend the top to a girl looking for a fun change from your typical, plain workout tank. I’d recommend the pants to a girl looking for low-rise, unique workout pants with a unique twist. NUX also has a wide range of other workout apparel that I’d imagine would appear to many women that are looking for a change of pace in their workout clothing.
Question: when you squat, are the leggings see-through? I do olympic weightlifting and I can’t have the thin kind that stretch too much or everyone sees my underwear all day.
Nope! They are plenty thick enough and feel very durable. Thanks for stopping by, Rachel!
