I really, really love the inclusion of Lion’s Mane, Reishi and Shiitake mushrooms in this blend. These functional mushrooms in the formula make for an incredibly healthy dog treat that will help our Kona adapt to stress, combat inflammation and proliferate good gut health + balance.

My Thoughts:
The fact that Lazarus Naturals has formulated these pet tinctures specifically for dogs is quite handy, as human dosing recommendations can be different. I like that Kona has her own designated tinctures so that I can feel confident that I’m giving her what she needs.
This calming formula will be helpful for thunderstorms, high winds and fireworks, as those are the three things that frazzle her a bit. Thankful to have a natural way to help her out during those times.

My Thoughts:
I view this product as a great way to couple Kona’s omega-3 fatty acid intake with her CBD dose. I already give Kona omega-3’s to combat inflammation, promote heart health, enhance the immune system and fuel healthy skin/coat. Thus, I didn’t need to be convinced that this product could be beneficial to her.
This Wild Salmon Calming Pet CBD Tincture formulation will replace my previous supplement routine with her. I’m thrilled to have the added anti-inflammatory benefits of CBD along with the perks of omega-3’s in this product.

My Thoughts:
Though Kona will literally eat 99% of what I put in front of her, it’s nice to see that Lazarus Naturals in making a product specifically geared towards smaller pets and picky eaters. The CBD Isolate contents of this product is a new concept for me.
CBD Isolate is the purest form of cannabidiol, and doesn’t contain the other components that a full-spectrum CBD oil does. My understanding is that CBD isolate is completely void of THC, while Full Spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC (though there’s no chance of producing a “high” feeling from it. The choice between both products seems to be up to preference and what works best for each individual. I’m opting to experiment with both for Kona and see if I can notice that she takes to one better than the other.
