This post is about my experience with Nuzest and how i’ve incorporated these protein and superfood powders into my routine.
In the vast array of protein brands on the market nowadays, it’s becoming increasingly hard to decipher the good from the bad, the real from the fake and the nourishing from the depleted. I tend to look to some of the top Crossfit Games athletes for supplement ideas when I’m curious to try a new brand. Jamie Greene is a top female Crossfit Athlete competing out of the UAE. I was scrolling through her Instagram feed when I discovered the brand Nuzest. I briefly checked out their website, some of their ingredient lists, and I quickly realized that this brand is doing things right.
Nuzest’s products are vegan, non-gmo, gluten free, soy free, nut free and nut free. The ingredients in their protein powders are intentional and clean. Perhaps the TASTIEST part of this review is that these have got to be some of the best-tasting protein powders I’ve ever tried. They are truly delicious; you feel like you’re drinking a yummy, satisfying shake, not a healthy meal replacement. I stumbled on the insane combination of combining a serving the Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein and the Cacao Banana Quick Vita Kick–my goodness. It was so unexpectedly good. It shakes up and combines easily in a blender bottle, giving it a creamy texture without any powdery clumps.
Here’s a snapshot of the products I got to sample! I tried three of the their products in a range of flavors. The products include their Clean Lean Protein, Just Fruit & Veg, and their Quick Vita Kick.
It’s hard to choose a favorite flavor of each product because they are all really stellar in their own regard. However, I will say that I normally tend to reach for vanilla, and their Vanilla Clean Lean Protein did not disappoint.
Here’s a glimpse of the ingredient list of each product along with their macronutrient breakdowns:
