About B Natural Organics:

“What We Choose to Use, Avoid, and Why

As the dangers caused from toxins in personal care products become more evident, it is important that we educate ourselves on the toxicity levels in every product we use. This will enable us to make informed decisions about what we apply to our skin, and introduce into our bodies.

At Be Natural Organics, we want our customers to be armed with the necessary information to ensure that you make the right choices for your skin.  That is why we have each of our products rated for toxicity levels by an independent environmental organization.

Along with knowledge on the overall toxicity levels in skin care products, we think it is important to understand the various types of toxins.  For this reason, we have included a list below of the two main types of toxins and their effects on our bodies:

Synthetic toxins – Most tend to accumulate in our bodies and attribute to our “Chemical Body Burden”. Numerous studies have shown that synthetic toxins accumulate in our organs and fatty tissues and eventually lower the body’s resistance to fight disease. Two of the main synthetic toxins used in skin care products are parabens and sulfates.  Parabens, found in over 90% of skin care products, collect in the fatty tissues in breasts and have been connected with breast tumors.  Sulfates accumulate in the brain, heart, liver and lungs and have shown similar detrimental effects. At Be Natural Organics, we ensure our products are free of all harmful synthetic toxins.  For more information, please see our “Articles” link.

Natural toxins – These are very different than their synthetic counterparts. Fruit and vegetable enzymes, some essential oils and other botanical actives may have a toxicity rating.  However, these natural enzymes dissipate into the skin, fulfill their purpose (for example, to exfoliate or stimulate collagen), and become neutralized by the body.  They do not carry with them any long-term negative effects. Be Natural Organics will use various natural enzymes to achieve specific results.

Why Be Natural Organics Oils are Superior:

Be Natural Organics ingredients are produced from premium-grade botanicals using a proprietary cold press manufacturing technology. This special process gently extracts oils from natural bio-masses (botanicals) using nominal pressure, resulting in cooler processing temperatures than extrusion processes and without any distillation, harsh chemicals or synthetic ‘stripping.’ In fact, this process is certified organic.

Be Natural Organics botanical oils are exceptionally pure, potent and nutritionally rich.

Other manufacturing processes use solvents or high-heat expeller presses. Worse, some claim to have a “cold” process but sill generate damaging temperatures. The nutritional content of oils vary greatly based upon the manufacturing process.

Be Natural Organics oils are processed under very low temperatures in an inert atmosphere during extraction and bottling to ensure that our all-natural and certified organic products retain their full spectrum of concentrated antioxidants and other valuable phytochemicals (naturally occurring plant constituents) for optimal nutritional benefits.

The result is botanical ingredients exhibiting unprecedented nutritional concentrations, purity and functionality.

At Be Natural Organics we are committed to providing a luxurious product line that surpasses the competition by omitting dangerous synthetic toxins and maintaining high-performing results. We are extremely proud to have achieved our goal and continue to develop new, clean products.

We are also committed to educating consumers on the importance of healthy skin care, and to be a driving force in the removal of all dangerous toxins used in skin care products today.  Towards that end, we have developed a toxin reference card for you to take with you when you go shopping.   Please print this card and put it in your wallet as our gift to you.”

Here is a bit more info about Be Natural Organics that touches on these products in regards to the word “organic”:

“Most of our ingredients are certified organic. We have just now started marking our certified organic ingredients with an askerisk. We have our products rated on skindeep.com and are now in the process of becoming NOP certified.”

Elderberry Balancing Mist

B Natural Organics’ Description:

“Our Elderberry Balancing Mist is created to heal, nourish, and bring oily and acne-prone skin into ph balance. This prepares the skin for optimal absorption of serums and moisturizers. Peppermint and tea tree hydrosol work to control oil production in the skin. Elderberry, pomegranate, and comfrey soothe and heal acne-prone skin. Niacin provides tremendous anti-acne benefits.

Ingredients:

Peppermint and tea hydrosol, populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, hyaluronic acid, elderberry, pomegranate and comfrey extracts, niacin, apple pectin, mangosteen, rose hip and bamboo extract.”

My Description & Thoughts:

As suggested, I spray this mist onto my face before applying a serum. You can instantly feel a bit of a tingle, or light zing. It feels like it helps the serum to target acne and blemishes while moisturizing. It works well after application in keeping facial oil at bay.

I’ve also been using this more like a toner, one that I use in the middle of the day to control the oil on my face. It works well for that use also. I like how the ingredients are a long list of plants, most of which are organic (as I discussed above in the intro).

For skin like mine, I like having a product like this around for days when my skin is problematic. It makes me feel like I have something to combat those problems with. I’d recommend this to individuals who are searching for a good product to help balance their oily and problematic skin. You can use this in combination with your current moisturizer to target and heal acne.

Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel

B Natural Organics’ Description:

“Botanical Enzymes have been called the most important skin care agents of the decade. The active enzyme used in our Daily Botanical Enzyme Peel loosens dead cells from the skin’s surface by dissolving stubborn glue-like substances that refuse to release dead skin cells through normal cleansing. These cells create a barrier for proper absorption of moisturizers and serums, so getting rid of these dead cells means that fresher cells are exposed resulting in optimal absorption of products.

Ingredients:

Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) juice *, lactic acid (plant-based), populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) extract, panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), bambusa arundinacea (bamboo) extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) extract, calendula officinalis (calendula) extract.”

My Description & Thoughts:

This is one of the few peels I have ever tried in my journey with organic products–so I was extra intrigued about this one!

On the bottle, they recommend that this peel is applied using a cotton ball. Even though that method might be less messy, I prefer to use clean fingertips. That way, you don’t waste any product on the cotton ball. As I applied it bit by bit to my face, I noticed a bit of a tingly, very tolerable stinging sensation. It was a good, clarifying feeling. The packaging even suggests that if, for some reason, you don’t find that tolerable, wash off soon after. Whereas if you’re like me, and find it to be a rejuvenating feeling, you can keep it on for several times.

It feels and looks like this product works well. It helps revive the top layer of skin and leaves it looking fresh and glowing. I find it unique enough of a product that I would consider buying it again to have a product on hand that can tackle my top layer of dead skin. I’d recommend this enzyme peel to anyone who has skin that requires bi-daily washes to keep skin clean and fresh feeling.

AHAFW-2T

AHA Facial Wash

B Natural Organics’ Description:

“This highly effective foaming cleanser contains 10% glycolic acid to help destroy acne-causing bacteria. Removes skin’s outer layer, allowing easier release of clogged pores, excess sebum and debris. Helps reduce skin discoloration from previous acne and encourages pore refinement for a flawless complexion. Your skin will be left clean with a more renewed and even skin tone.

Ingredients:

Aqua (distilled water), olea europaea (olive oil) castile, glycolic acid, vegetable glycerin, rosa rubiginosa (rose hip) seed oil, ascophyllum nodosum (seaweed) extract, fortunella swingle (kumquat) oil.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I found this cleanser to be gentle and thorough at the same time. The consistency of the mixture is a liquidy-gelly mixture and lathers up a little bit, but not a ton, like you’d imagine a liquid soap to do. I think, though, that it is gentle because it does not suds up a lot. To get a better clean, I use this product with a plant-fiber facial exfoliating buff or round (I use a Dew Puff).

I think this is a facial wash that would be suitable for a wide range of skin types, as it gentle enough for sensitive skin and can be thorough enough to clean well on an oily face as well. I’d recommend it!

BHAS-2T

BHA Serum

B Natural Organics’ Description:

“This serum contains the active ingredient beta-hydroxy acid, providing powerful anti-bacterial properties and anti-oxidants to stimulate new cell production while protecting your face in an oil-free base. Deeply penetrates skin to lift debris from clogged pores. Dissolves facial oil all day long as it rejuvenates your skin. Keeps a professional matte finish for oily skin.”

Ingredients:

Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) juice, purified water (and) camellia sinensis (green tea) extract, ethanol (natural grain alcohol), salicylic acid, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), populous tremoloides (aspen bark) extract, xanthan gum, citrus paradisi (grapefruit) extract, bambusa arundinacea (bamboo) extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) extract, vitamin C-ester.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I’m used to serums that are pure and comprised or organic, hydrating oils. “Oil free” is something I DO NOT look for in a facial product. The myth that oily skin shouldn’t be treated with oil is one that I’d like to squash. Just like our bodies, which need fats to thrive, our skin needs organic, pure oils in moderation as well. High quality, plant based oils are some of the best healers for skin.

All of that said, I DO like this product a lot. I would classify it as more of a skin elixir instead of a serum (simply because in my mind, serum often means a rich combo of oils). I think this product is good at healing skin, but not adding a ton of moisture and hydration to it. That said, I have used it in combination with an organic oil serum and found that it heals and adds moisture well.

I’d recommend this product to be used in combination with an organic oil serum. Together, I think they would help skin and keep it moist.

L’uvalla Organic Skin Care

Overall Rating: 5 Stars

I especially love the note that came with this box of goodies…

“Dearest Jesica,” (with my name spelt correctly)

“When you feel whole and complete you will attract all good things.” 🙂

About L’uvalla:

“Our Convictions

L’uvalla (loo-VA-la) means love the spirit within all things.

Love your skin. L’uvalla Certified Organic skin care products use the powerful, healing properties of nature to bring out your skin’s natural beauty.  Our ‘BIO’ certification gives you confidence that no dangerous toxins are being absorbed through your skin because we only use all natural and certified organic ingredients in our skin care.

Love the Earth. Every element of the natural products L’uvalla creates is sustainably produced from seed to shelf for optimal environmental preservation.

Love People. Fair trade practices used in harvesting our all natural ingredients, such as Argan Oil, not only help to preserve the argan forest, but also to improve the social and economic status of women in the Essaouira region of Morocco.

Love the Animals. You can be certain that no animals were harmed during the manufacturing of L’uvalla. Our beauty products are animal cruelty-free and vegan-approved by COSMEBIO, PETA and Leaping Bunny.

‘LUV’ All is the very core of our name, our company, our mission and our beauty products.

A Labor of ‘LUV’ – The journey of L’uvalla

We are three individuals just like you – people that want to live a healthier lifestyle without compromising quality or effectiveness.   We were outraged at the lack of regulation that allowed over 10,500 different chemicals to be used in personal care products even though only 11% had been tested for safety.  We were confused with all of the labels claiming ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ yet still containing toxic ingredients that could put our health at risk.  Our journey was born out of a desire to provide an authentic 100% natural and organic skincare that was sustainably produced with the health of you and our planet in mind.  We believe that skincare should be a total wellness product that is made with the values you cherish and delivers the results you demand for your skin.”

foaming-facial-cleanser

Foaming Facial Cleanser

L’uvalla’s Description:

(Normal/Combo/Oily Skin) – This gentle foaming cleanser thoroughly removes daily toxins, impurities, and makeup without irritating your eyes or drying out your skin. Potent ingredients, such as Bilberry and Lotus Flower, contain flavonoids that have antioxidant properties more powerful than vitamin C in fighting free radicals, the number one cause of aging skin. This deep-cleansing formula combines the most effective NATURAL & ORGANIC ingredients from around the world to work synergistically with your skin in delivering these results:

  • Balance Sebum Production
  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Neutralize Free Radicals
  • Minimize Breakouts
  • Gentle Eye Make-up Remover
  • Provide Matte Finish

Ingredients:

Natural Spring Water, Cocamidopropyl Bétaïne, Organic Bilberry Extract, Lotus Flower Extract, Madder Root Extract, Organic Rose Geranium Flower Oil.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I must say, I typically prefer facial soaps to be in bar form because it’s less messy and easier to apply. I did enjoy using this cleanser, though. When lathered up, it does a good job of cleaning even the dirtiest of skin.

I like how L’uvalla states that this product provides “matte finish,” as I think that is a good description of how it leaves your skin. All of the sweat and shininess is gone and skin looks completely clean. Because of how good this cleanser cleans, I do make sure to follow up with moisturizer or serum so that my skin stays moist.

I’d recommend this cleanser for someone looking for a thorough clean by way of very good ingredients.

eucalyptus-toner_1

Eucalyptus Toner

L’uvalla’s Description:

(Normal/Combo/Oily Skin) – This refreshing toner contains NO ALCOHOL and effectively clears away congestion in your skin and aids in fighting acne. Formulated with the most effective NATURAL & ORGANIC plant extracts from around the world, including Eucalyptus and Sage, this toner works synergistically with your skin to invigorate and protect your skin while delivering these results:

  • Unclog & Tighten Pores
  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Minimize Breakouts
  • Restore Skin to 4.5 PH Balance
  • Remove Hard Water Residue
  • Infuse Skin with Powerful Antioxidants
  • Protect from Environmental Pollutants

Ingredients:

Organic Eucalyptus Leaf Extract, Natural Spring Water, Lotus Flower Extract, Maris Sal Extract, Organic Niaouli Leaf Oil, Organic Sage Oil, Organic Yarrow Oil.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I find toners to be most useful to me mid-day in between washes when my skin has perspired a bit and needs a refresher. The eucalyptus provides such a pleasant, calming fragrance and the other ingredients add to that earthy, herbal scent.

This is a great product to have in your gym bag for post workout in the middle of the day. You might not want to go through the whole routine of washing your face, so a toner might be just what your skin needs. This way, the oil and sweat that has built up on your skin will be kept at bay. Using a toner is also more time efficient than washing and moisturizing your face.

I’d recommend this to anyone who has oily/combination skin or is looking for a mid-day skin fix. This product contains mostly organic ingredients and when you use it on your skin, it feels pure and effective.

balancing-cream-300x300

Balancing Day/Night Cream

L’uvalla’s Description:

(Normal/Combo/Oily Skin) – This light moisturizer leaves a matte finish and utilizes the highly effective antiseptic/astringent properties of Thyme, Clove Flower and Cinnamon Bark to clear congestion and balance oil production. The powerful anti-aging properties of Argan Oil, which has twice the vitamin E of olive oil, help to maintain cell integrity while keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay. This cream combines NATURAL and ORGANIC ingredients from around the world to work synergistically with your skin to provide hydration and to deliver these results:

  • Boost Collagen Production
  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Neutralize Free Radicals
  • Balance Sebum Production
  • Increase Cell Regeneration
  • Clear Congestion
  • Provide Matte Finish

Ingredients:

Natural Spring Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Organic Hazel Seed Oil, Organic Argan Kernel Oil, Lotus Flower Extract, Organic Thyme Oil, Organic Lavender Oil, Organic Lemon Peel Oil, Organic Rosemary Leaf Oil, Organic Marjoram Leaf Oil, Organic Clove Flower Oil, Organic Cypress Oil, Organic Nutmeg Kernel Oil, Organic Cinnamon Bark Oil, Olibanum Oil, Organic Palmarosa Oil.”

My Description & Thoughts:

What a great moisturizer this is–It’s light and even has essential oils that are natural astringents, which allows this cream to keep the oil on your face at bay. It doesn’t take much of this product to thoroughly hydrate your face and neck (if desired), which is great because it helps the bottle of product last a long time.

The day/night cream is just ideal–can’t say enough good things about it. It leaves skin feeling just as you’d like it to feel–clean yet hydrated. The ingredient list is merely entirely organic and the ingredients are specifically nourishing and helpful for maintaining healthy skin. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light moisturizer than is chock full of organic goodness.

age-defying-cream-300x300

Age-Defying Day/Night Cream

L’uvalla’s Description:

(Normal/Dry/Mature Skin) – This luxurious, high-performing moisturizer uses Hazel Seed and Palm Kernel to protect your skin from losing vital moisture. Infused with the most effective NATURAL and ORGANIC ingredients from around the world, such as the rare Argan Oil (which contains twice the vitamin E of olive oil) and the prized Rosewood Oil, this powerful moisturizer works synergistically with your skin’s natural biochemistry to help skin rebound from damaging environmental toxins and to deliver these results:

  • Boost Collagen Production
  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Neutralize Free Radicals
  • Provide Extreme Hydration
  • Increase Cell Regeneration
  • Reduce Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Ingredients:

Natural Spring Water, Organic Hazel Seed Oil, Organic Palm Kernel Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Organic Argan Kernel Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Lotus Flower Extract, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Organic Rosewood Oil, Organic Rose Geranium Flower Oil, Organic Lavendin Oil, Organic Palmarosa Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Organic Cypress Oil, Organic Thyme Oil, Myoinosite, Chlorophyllin-Magnesium Complex, Citric Acid, Organic Bitter Orange Leaf Extract & Oil.”

My Description & Thoughts:

Another great L’uvalla product–my thoughts are very similar on this product as they were for the balancing cream. It does great things in protecting skin and keeping it young looking.

This age-defying version is an even better option for those looking for fight wrinkles and damaged skin. The ingredients are dreamy, one organic ingredient after the next.

Though I enjoyed using this product, I’d recommend it more for those looking specifically for an anti-aging cream or wrinkle reducing products. Otherwise, I’d recommend L’uvalla’s balancing cream–they are both great creams that target different skin types.

milk-cleanser-300x300

Hydrating Milk Cleanser

L’uvalla’s Description:

“(Normal/Dry/Mature Skin) – This versatile vegan cleanser removes dirt, oil and makeup without stripping vital moisture from your skin. Formulated with the most effective anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents from around the world, such as Wild Chamomile, Passionflower and Lotus Extract, it works synergistically with your skin to lock in moisture. Meadowsweet, a natural source of Beta Hydroxy Acid, leaves your skin refreshed and clean without the residue often left by other milk cleansers. Rich in fatty acids, this luxurious cleanser delivers the following results:

  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Remove Make-up
  • Revitalize & Hydrate Skin
  • Calm & Soothe Irritations
  • Increase Cell Regeneration
  • Infuse Skin with Powerful Antioxidants

Ingredients:

Natural Spring Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Cocamidopropyl Bétaïne, Organic Hazel Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Lotus Flower Extract, Organic Orange Peel Oil, Organic Lavendin Oil, Organic Palmarosa Oil, Organic Matricaria Flower Extract, Organic Meadowsweet Extract, Organic Passionflower Extract, Organic Asian Ginseng Root Extract.”

My Description & Thoughts:

As far as the cleaning job this milk cleanser does, it is not my favorite because my skin needs a more thorough clean. However, it does exactly what it says it does. It is gentle and it does not rid skin of moisture.

If you have oily skin and you still like to incorporate gentle cleansers in your routine, I’d recommend this product for a mid-day routine in which your skin doesn’t desperately need a cleansing, but it could use a light wash. I could also see this cleanser being great for make up removal at night (as L’uvalla suggests to boot).

Just like all other L’uvalla products, this one boasts mostly organic ingredients, which always speaks to the effectiveness of the products, as I believe organic, plant based ingredients are not only the safest, but they “work” best!

Kaia Naturals: Juicy Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths Review

20130827-135714.jpg

Kaia Naturals: Juicy Bamboo Cleansing Cloths

Overall Rating: 4 Stars

Finding organic makeup removal cloths is a rare thing, as most that you’ll find are absolutely chemical ridden. Kaia Naturals is a company I’m glad I came across. Amy at Kaia Naturals was a joy to communicate with and she was gracious enough to provide me with samples in order to try these cleansing cloths for the first time.

Kaia Naturals’ Description:

“The natural cleanser, toner, eye makeup remover that doesn’t fry your skin.  we promise! oh and…it naturally removes waterproof mascara without the torture!”

jb-colelciton-slider

My Description & Thoughts:

These little, individually wrapped towelettes couldn’t be any more portable and practical for daily use. I traveled with these recently and they fit easily in my makeup bag and took up virtually no room.

They truly remove all makeup–thoroughly, while somehow still feeling gentle on skin (the good ingredients that the cloths are soaked in are to thank). They even do a great job tackling thick and stubborn eye makeup like eyeliner and mascara. In regards to effectiveness, these could not improve–they are ideal.

It is a real treat for skin to come into contact with organic honey–it is wonderfully and naturally nourishing and also helps maintain an adequate level of moisture on skin. Because of this, these cloths won’t dry out your skin. I would love to see the rest of the ingredients in organic form as well, though I realize organic essential oils are significantly more expensive than non-organic, which would make these cloths pricier, I’d imagine. It would be worth it to me, though, in order to have the peace of mind in knowing I am using the very best on my skin.

It is always nice to see a product that has a list of harmful components that they do not use. This tells me that they are ingredient conscious and see the harm in using those items.

Not having entirely organic ingredients is the only reason that I would not give these Kaia Naturals cleansing cloths “5 stars.” It is worth mentioning, though, that the quality of these cloths is light years better than makeup-removing cloths you’d find in your neighborhood market or drug store. Because of this, and because of the presence of organic honey and gentle bamboo material, I’d definitely recommend these to family and friends who are looking for a natural way to take off makeup.

Primavera Skin Care & Aromatherapy Review

20130824-134745.jpg

Primavera Life Skin Care & Aromatherapy

Overall Rating: 4 Stars

primavera-life-balancing-face-toner-organic-zoom

Balancing Toner: Sage & Grape Seed Oil

Primavera’s Description:

“Spray a little Balancing Facial Toner onto a cotton wool pad or into the palms of your hand and wipe over your face and neck.

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Alcohol*, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Water*, Glycerin, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Water*, Salvia Offi cinalis (Sage) Leaf Water*, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract*, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract*, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract*, Fragrance (Parfum), Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil*, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Liquorice) Root Extract*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract*, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Xanthan Gum, Citral, Limonene, Linalool.

* ingredients from organic cultivation.”

My Description & Thoughts:

I don’t always use a toner, but when I do, it is one just like this. (hehe) Seriously, though. This is a great toner.

I also love that it comes with a spray feature. I have used toners in the past that require a cotton ball or square to apply, which I don’t like (though Primavera suggests it–it is not the method I like best) I prefer to waste less of it by spraying it directly onto my skin. It does a great job of evenly distributing the toner.

Limey, zesty, fresh are the aromas that I smell in this product–very pleasant and uplifting. I see this product appealing to both men and women because the fragrance is unisex.

I’ve recently become more open and using refreshing mid day sprays, herb waters and toners. I love them as an alternative and more mild way of cleansing my face in between washes. Primavera has made a great oner here with almost entirely organic ingredients.

primavera-life-balancing-gel-cleanser-organic-zoom

Balancing Gel Cleanser: Sage & Grape Seed Oil

Primavera’s Description:

“Dampen your skin, apply a little of the organic facial cleanser into the palm of your hand, gently massage into your skin to remove all traces of dirt. Rinse thoroughly.

Water (Aqua), Alcohol* org, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Salvia Offi cinalis (Sage) Leaf Water*, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Water*, Xanthan Gum, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract*, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract*, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Bentonite, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract*, Fragrance (Parfum), Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Plantago Lanceolata Leaf Extract*, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract*, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Lactic Acid, Citral, Limonene, Linalool.

* ingredients from organic cultivation.”

My Description & Thoughts:

This is the first cleanser I’ve ever tried that is a gel consistency as opposed to a bar soap or liquid soap. It is different, needless to say. A good different.

It provides a gentle cleanse while retaining my skin’s moisture balance. Sometimes I prefer a more thorough, clarifying cleanse, and other times and for more regular washes, I prefer a product like this.

I put this bottle in the shower after using it for the first time and let me fiancee give it a try as well. I thought of him when using it as I felt it had a zesty, herby, masculine aroma to it. He thought it was “light and wouldn’t clog your pores.”

Wonderful, new-to-me product that I think is a great change of pace from a lot of cleansers.
