My Thoughts:
I am fortunate that I do not get sick often. It’s been quite a while since something was ailing me so badly that I needed to take cough syrup or apply a vapor rub. Though I don’t find myself needing these products often, I love that there are organic options available for me to look to when needed.
Also, for those with kids, it’s hard to accurately describe the peace of mind it gives you to know that what you’re using with your children is free of crummy ingredients and is actually good for their little growing bodies.
I’m pretty psyched at the ultra clean ingredient list of the cough syrup. The obvious improvement I’d make with the vapor rub is to make the ingredients organic. If you’re going to commit to using natural ingredients like essential oils, I figure you may as well use the best. Know that is my opinion with a very discerning eye. These products are so incredibly far ahead of what you typically find in the drug store, there is truly no comparison.
Other drug store products for treating the same symptoms are potentially doing more harm than good, while these Maty’s products are healing effectively by means of organic, plant-derived ingredients.
I tried these products not needing them. In other words, I was sick and needing relief–so I cannot fully comment on the effectiveness of them alleviating discomfort and pain. But, I did find the cough syrup to be very calming & soothing after drinking it. It also has good stay power as far as keeping your throat coated. The honey flavor really tastes nice and isn’t hard to palate.
I love what the vapor rub does. I could see myself using this just to feel revived, awakened and rejuvenated. The minty, fresh aroma and experience of the eucalyptus, peppermint and wintergreen trio is absolutely intoxicating. It really opens up your airways and even livens up your eyes and makes you look more awake.
