Skincare Review Living Libations
Taking a few steps back, it’s worth mentioning how I learned about this brand. I follow facial massage & skincare practitioner, Danna Omari on Instagram (@noyskincare). Over time, I have learned how to create my own facial massage practice through her guidance. Somewhere along the way, I noticed the Best Skin Ever – Sea Buckthorn oil that she continuously recommended. She shared that she uses it to oil cleanse her face.
This is a gentle, nourishing way to cleanse the face. Oil cleansing prevents the facial skin’s moisture barrier from being disrupted. This is common when you use harsh cleansing formulations. It’s amazing the difference in your skin when you switch to oil cleansing.

Living Libations Best Skin Ever Oils
I was most excited to try these oils, as I’ve had skin struggles throughout my life. They come highly touted in the clean beauty world. If I had to nail down favorites, the Best Skin Ever oils are amongst the best Living Libations products. These are the products you may have heard referred to as “Living Libations Oil Cleanser” in the social media world, as of late.

Living Libations Sea Buckthorn Oil
The illustrious, touted, best-selling formula is the Living Libations Sea Buckthorn Oil. It’s also a personal favorite. Too, I’ve found it really lives up to the hype.
I use this oil alongside the organic hemp cloths to cleanse my face morning and night. There is never a dryness issue. It’s only goodness that follows. And, it’s only been about a month of using this oil and the redness has subsided. Too, the texture is soft & improved.
Living Libations face oil products all make it into my skin care rotation. They all offer different and potent skin benefits. The other formulas include Tropical, Rose, Sandalwood, Neroli, Frankincense, and Immortelle.

Sea Buckthorn Oil for Face
Living Libations Sea Buckthorn Balm – Best Skin Ever
This is one of Living Libations newest products! As a big fan of the Best Skin Ever – Sea Buckthorn Oil, I knew I’d probably love the balm, too. You may be wondering, what’s the difference?
One of the main differences between the Balm & the Oil is the addition of Laurel Wax & Happy Beeswax in the balm. This ingredient gives the balm a more firm texture. I’ve found that this texture helps the product blur pores and minimize the appearance of wrinkles. That’s the main thing I notice with a balm. It’s the staying power, for me. Also, it acts as a primer would in this way since it helps smooth out your complexion.
You’ll find some familiar ingredients like sea buckthorn, jojoba, vetiver, grapefruit, and turmeric. This new Living Libations cleanser is another one that will leave your skin happy and recalibrated.

Living Libations Zippity Dew Dab and Ozonated Dew Dab
Gosh, it’s so hard to pick favorites. But, the Ozonated Dew Dab is definitely a favorite. I can’t explain how exciting it is for me to know of a skincare brand that infuses ozone into a few of its products. Using ozone in your wellness routine can have a big impact on you with the antiviral and antibacterial properties it offers. Also, there are other ways to administer ozone. But, I’m crazy about the fact that Living Libations is so ahead in the skincare conversation by using it in skincare. I apply it to my red cheeks and it acts as their antidote.
Zippity Dew Dab is my go-to spot treatment. There’s only one other one I’ll even use because pure, loving ingredients are key to chilling out a breakout. Furthermore, ingredients like niaouli, carrot seed, rosemary & blue tansy make this potion your skin’s desired chill pill. Living Libations also makes variations of this formula called BeDew Dab and Dew Dab.
Living Libations Sun Dew Vitamin D Creme
A light, yet creamy, smooth, and moisturizing dose of topical Vitamin D3. And, this creme packs a harmony of essential oils to light up your complexion. Moreover, this list includes oils like sea buckthorn, palmarosa, ginger, sandalwood, turmeric & thyme.
With Sun Dew, I love using this right after doing my oil cleansing routine with one of the Best Skin Ever Oils. It creates a hydrating barrier that somehow manages to also feel light. Too, it makes a good primer of sorts to wear under foundation/makeup.
Since this formula does contain vitamin D3 that gets absorbed thru the skin, this product is extra helpful for the colder months when you are perhaps outside less.

Living Libations Soothsayer Serum & Ensorcell Serum
I alternate these two potent, dense, rich serums. Moreover, I like the components of both of them. Living Libation’s Soothsayer Serum helps soften the appearance of scars, spots, and smoothens skin texture. Also, this serum targets the harm caused by environmental exposures. The Soothsayer Serum features ingredients like sandalwood, rose otto, sweet thyme, and geranium.
Meanwhile, the Ensorcell Serum solves for skin imbalances, like sagging skin, loss of elasticity, puffiness, redness, age spots and uneven skin tone. It’s a unique, super-stimulating liquid serum. Ensorcell Serum also includes restorative ingredients like seabuckthorn berry, frankincense, turmeric, immortelle, and MSM (an organic sulfur compound).

Living Libations Sea Buckthorn Shampoo & Conditioner
Since I’m already a fan and avid user of the Best Skin ever – Sea Buckthorn formula, I figured this duo would be a shoo-in. If you are a seasoned Living Libations user, maybe you can relate. However, I know many are still looking for a Living Libations shampoo review because they haven’t tried the hair care products yet.
I was right on the money with the assumption that these products would be excellent. It’s both no-frills and all the frills. The ingredients are decadent and nutritive, yet it’s simple to use. In other words, it’s easy to get a good clean and fuss-free wash with this shampoo. I like a double shampoo with this one (twice with a small amount instead of once with a large amount). Furthermore, it suds up just enough; even more so during the second shampoo, once you’ve cut through the first layer of grease.
Additionally, the conditioner offers a bit of detailing power and moisture without (and this is perhaps the key) weighing it down.

Nontoxic Toothpaste
Living Libations Neem Enamelizer Alkalizing Toothpaste
This nanohydroxyapatite toothpaste has given me one of the cleanest feelings ever after brushing, no kidding. And, the combination of neem, cinnamon, and olive oil proves to be an enjoyable combination, flavor-wise. Also, the duo of kaolin clay and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) create an alkaline environment in your oral cavity. In addition, those two ingredients act as powerful cleaning compounds for a mouth that needs a good brushing.
I love this toothpaste for how effective it is. There’s something so satisfying about working your tongue around your mouth and experiencing a thorough clean.

Living Libations Happy Gum Drops & Yogi Tooth Serum
This is a good time to point out that the team at Living Libations has been abundantly helpful. Moreover, when I was unsure of which oral care products to get, they made it really simple for me. So, they recommend following up your toothpaste step with one of these products: Happy Gum Drops, Yogi Tooth Serum, or the Ozonated Happy Gum Gel. Thus, I rotate all three, using a different one each successive day.
Sidenote, happy to report that I used these during a 10-year stint without dentist visits. Which, resulted in a good dental report with zero cavities! Just goes to show that you don’t need fluoride (in fact, it’s toxic) and these products work.
As far as enjoyment, the Happy Gum Drops have to be my favorite, as they were the first oral care product I tried from Living Libations. But, I use the other two because of the potent antimicrobial impact of ozone & the restorative impact of the essential oil combination in the Yogi Tooth Serum. Living Libations Ozonated Happy Gum Gel
The Ozonated Happy Gum Gel was the second Living Libations product I started incorporating that contains ozone. As someone healing from EBV (Epstein Barr) and mold exposure, any way I can use ozone is welcomed.
Since the mouth cavity is the beginning of the digestive tract, it’s an important opportunity to use antibacterial products to fuel a healthy mouth and gut microbiome.
As mentioned above, I rotate this product into my routine, using it every 3 days or so. But, in some ways, this product is the most power-packed since the formula is ozonated. Learn more about ozone on the Living Libations website.

Living Libations Radiant Love Lube
Lube was not something I had ever purchased before for a few reasons. Firstly, I didn’t feel the need for it. Secondly, I have zero interest in using the toxin-filled lubes that make up most of the market.
However, Living Libations’ Radiant Love Lube is in a league of its own. Since you’re applying it to a delicate, absorptive area, it makes sense that nontoxic is the only way to go. We love to use this as a way to elevate the blood flow and overall good feelings. Luke and I both love it! Moreover, ingredients like vanilla, cinnamon, and schizandra create memorable, warm, and zesty feelings.

Living Libations Tropical Spice Incense
I’ve become big on incense in the last 5 years. I really love and enjoy the opportunity to elevate the aromatherapy experience in our home, especially here in 2020. We are home more than usual these days, needless to say.
On an energetic level, lighting these incense feels like things shift in the room. I’d imagine that this is partially because of the connection between smell and the mind. The scent of the tropical spice smells warm and natural. There’s not a hint of artificial scent, at all.
Just like the rest of the Living Libations line, these are naturally formulated. These particular incense are hand-crafted with stone-ground spice, floral botanicals and all-natural coconut shell, rolled onto bamboo sticks.

Living Libations Organic Hemp Cloths
What you put onto and into your skin matters. Materials and tools are included in this, as well. It makes sense that you would want to use pure, high-quality plant fibers in combination with the pure oils you’re using.
As I mentioned earlier, I use these cloths as a gentle exfoliant and cleanser, alongside the Best Skin Ever – Sea Buckthorn. My skin feels very happy after this part of my routine. If you experience skin irritation, I would definitely recommend trying out a new way to cleanse.
Oil cleansing with these two Living Libations products has been my new favorite aspect of my routine. I look forward to it every single time. Living Libations Poetic Pits – Maverick
Since your armpits are a warm, absorptive region of the body, it’s important to pay attention to what’s applied there. It’s an opportunity to choose a better option for yourself and your wellness.
I choose the Poetic Pits – Maverick scent actually because my nickname on my high school volleyball team was Maverick. It’s a Top Gun Movie reference. The scent combination is rich with plant essential oils like Sandalwood, Frankincense, and Cardamom. These 3 are a few of my favorites.
Performance-wise, this formula works well for combatting the stink. The potency goes a long way. It’s also worth remembering that a poor diet often means stinkier pits. So, that’s another thing you can adapt to serve your overall wellness vibration.

One of my favorite ways to naturally exfoliate the skin is to use dry brushes in the shower before I’ve started the running water. This practice helps with skin cell turnover and encourages new, healthy skin cell growth.

The Maiden Fern Blushing Balm & Moccasin Flower Shimmer are the two Living Libations makeup products I’ve tried so far. Next up, I’m excited to try the Ruby Juice Juice Ozone Lip Gloss. As I’m obsessed with all of the other Living Libations products that contain ozone.
I see ozone usage in skincare as so progressive, forward-thinking, and yet simply harnessing an ancient, potent aspect of nature to rebalance the body. As for the Maiden Fern Blushing Balm & Moccasin Flower Shimmer, they are both magical! I love them on the lips, cheeks, and lids. You can also use the shimmer as a bronzer; it’s the ideal color for it and gives you a highlighting effect with the luminosity of the formula. They are moderately pigmented and easy to build up. I love that Living Libations makeup is a part of their line. If they ever expanded into the foundation, concealer and/or powder, I would be first in line for that.
